Decatur meeting addresses concerns about crimes

DECATUR, Ga. -

Concerned residents of a Decatur neighborhood met with police on Wednesday to find out how to fight crime in their neighborhood.

Police said most of the crimes reported in the Chelsea Heights area from July 2012 through this month have been car break-ins, burglaries and car thefts.

Residents said they came to the meeting to find out what they could do.

Police said they were able to give the residents some safety tips and alleviate some fears.
