A new local fitness club is combining technology with your personalized workout to give you maximum results.
Koko FitClub is an experience like no other. Members get a personalized key that goes into a computer each workout and tells them what exercises to complete, so they get the best results.
Mike and his wife Jenny have been coming to Koko fit club for more than two months now. Jenny says, "It's being able to do 15 or 30 minutes that gives me so much more flexibility than having to be at a class for an hour."
But their goal is to build muscle, realizing as they age, it's so important.
Mike says, "I was going into the club like a zombie. I'd go into the club and lift weights and didn't know how much I should be lifting."
Mike loves the website where he gets to see his results each day and he competes with himself and others online.
Jenny is pleased to see this is what it takes to get her husband to workout.
Koko FitClub owner Curt Straight says the program also customizes workouts for people with specific medical conditions like breast cancer, arthritis and back problems. There's also a new free addition to the website- personalized meal plans, shopping list and recipes.
Straight says, "We're trying to make it easy for people to incorporate better nutrition into their lifestyle."
It's all about the results. Jenny has become stronger and Mike too. Mike says, "I've seen a 27 percent increase in strength in those 8 weeks,
I think this has given me a good return on my investment."
The Koko FitClub cost about 89 dollars a month for an individual.
There are three in the metro, Savage, Chanhassen and Excelsior.
