Cops: bomb threat at Hudson River crossings bogus

NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) -

A police search of the Hudson River crossings following a bomb threat on Thursday turned up nothing, said Port Authority police.

The threatening call to 911 was made at about 11:15 a.m.  It is not clear what was said in the threat or whom made the call.

Port Authority police checked out the Lincoln and Holland tunnels and the George Washington Bridge, but nothing suspicious was found.

Traffic was never disrupted during the search.

The 'all-clear' was given at about Noon.
