MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) -

The Minnesota Vikings cut wide receiver Michael Jenkins on Tuesday to clear salary cap space.

The Vikings owed Jenkins a roster bonus of $2.4 million on Mar. 16.

Jenkins had been with the Vikings the past two seasons, catching 78 passes and five touchdowns.
