The ailing Wolves' three-game West Coast road trip ended Saturday in a loss to the Portland Trail Blazers.
Derrick Williams led the way with 23 points and Luke Ridnour contributed 18, but it wasn't enough to ward off Damian Lillard's 24 and major bench contributions from Meyers Leonard (12 points, eight rebounds), Victor Claver (10 points) and Eric Maynor (seven points and a career-high 12 assists). The Blazers have only won two of their past 10 games.
The Wolves played without both Nikola Pekovic and Andrei Kirilenko, but Ricky Rubio continues to improve this season, not only aiding Derrick Williams' game, but Rubio is inching closer to his first career triple-double. He finished with 12 points, nine boards and nine assists.
The Wolves return to the Target Center to take on the Miami Heat on Monday.
