Lynx acquire former Gopher McCarville; reunion set with Whalen - KMSP-TV

The Minnesota Lynx have acquired center Janel McCarville in exchange for guard Candice Wiggins. The team has called a 4PM press conference to officially announce the move which reunites McCarville with former Gopher Lindsay Whalen.

McCarville has not played in the WNBA since 2010, but has played overseas. In 2010, she averaged just under nine points per game and 5.90 rebounds for the Liberty.
