MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) -
Minnesota Twins All-Star catcher Joe Mauer and his wife Maddie have announced that they are expecting...twins, of course.
"Everyone knows Joe loves doubles!" the Twins posted on Twitter.
Mauer told the Pioneer Press that "everything so far is good" and it's too early to tell if the twins are boys or girls. There's no word when the babies are due.
Mauer married fellow Cretin-Derham Hall grad Maddie Bisanz back in December.
