MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) -
Dozens of local cleaning workers are on strike Tuesday morning. The non-union employees started walking the picket line during the 6 a.m. hour outside the Target store in downtown Minneapolis.
The janitors work for three different companies which service local Target stores. They blame the strike on what they're calling unfair labor practices.
Tuesday's strike is just a one-day demonstration, with workers expected to return to the job on Wednesday.
Local unionized janitors reached a tentative contract deal this past weekend.
