ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) -
One man is dead and another man is injured after an assault at a St. Paul bar.
According to St. Paul police, officers were called to the Moonshine Saloon at about 1:50 a.m. Saturday and when they arrived they found two injured people.
Both were taken to a local hospital where one died. The second man has injuries that are not life threatening and he remains hospitalized in stable condition.
On Sunday, officials identified the man who was killed as 28-year-old Cher Vang, of St. Paul.
Investigators say Vang was stabbed several times in the upper body early Saturday morning inside the bar.
Police are still working to understand what happened before the assault. No suspects are in custody and anyone with information is urged to call the St. Paul Police Department.
