Latosha Funches and her two children have been living in the apartment for three years, but just recently she says a mold problem has surfaced so bad that mushrooms are growing out of the ceiling in a couple of bedrooms and in the bathroom.
Funches says she's complained to the property management company, but because she is a HUD tenant, her rent is roughly $23 a month for the three bedrooms, she feels like no one is listening.
Funches told me she's not mad with the federal agency, but she is upset with the owner of the building for moving her family into an apartment that's being renovated.
