Two people from Minnetonka, Minn. were killed in a four-vehicle crash Monday involving a snowplow and semi in northwestern Minnesota.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the semi was driving in the left lane of I-94 in Clay County while the snowplow was clearing the right lane of the highway. The accident report indicates a Minnetonka woman made an impatient move, trying to pass her Buick Park Avenue between the plow and semi.
Judith Reid, 49, crashed into both vehicles, then stalled on the highway. The stalled car was then struck by a trailing Dodge Ram pickup.
Reid and her husband, 49-year-old Sean Ray of Minnetonka, were both killed in the crash. The couple's son, 16-year-old Evan Ray, was seriously injured.
