PHOTO: Car crashes into Food Planet grocery store in St. Paul - KMSP-TV

Two women were injured after crashing their car into the Food Planet grocery store in St. Paul early Friday morning.

St. Paul police said the crash happened around 3:45 a.m. at the corner of East 7th Street and White Bear Avenue.

The car damaged the front door of the store, but was stopped by a support beam.

Both women were taken to Regions Hospital with minor injuries.
