NEW PRAGUE, Minn. (KMSP) -
The New Prague Police Department says a 15-year-old New Prague High School sophomore has been booked on charges of terroristic threats and disorderly conduct after a bomb threat was reported.
At about 7:40 a.m. on Thursday, school staff notified police about a note found in a bathroom that claimed a bomb was inside the building.
Administrators evacuated students and staff members to the New Prague Community Center and New Prague Gymnastics Center.
Officers and some school staff members searched the building but did not find any explosive devices.
By 9:15 a.m., students were allowed to return to the school.
Investigators say a juvenile petition is now pending after information helped them identify and arrest a suspect. The teen has been booked into the Scott County Jail.
