The mother of accused killer and fired Los Angeles police officer Christopher J. Dorner speaks exclusively with FOX 11 Legal Analyst Robin Sax. Nancy Dorner called Robin Wednesday afternoon to talk about her son, Christopher, and release a statement from the Dorner family.
Nancy Dorner told Robin she wanted to let the public know they do not condone Christopher's actions and to offer their deepest sympathies and condolences.
Nancy Dorner said she and her family are being hounded by the media and she only felt comfortable speaking with Robin and FOX 11 News.
Her statement reads: "It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we express our deepest sympathies and condolences to anyone that suffered losses or injuries resulting from Christopher's actions. We do not condone Christopher's actions.
The family has no further comments and ask that our privacy be respected during this difficult time."
Robin says Nancy Dorner was articulate on the phone and went out of her way to stress she doesn't condone her son's behavior but felt there could be validity to his claims and worth careful examination.
Nancy Dorner told Robin she wished her son Chris would have called Robin as opposed to the horrific acts of murder and terrorizing Southern California.
Police confirmed Wednesday that they found charred human remains inside the burned out cabin in Big Bear, but authorities have not positively identified the body, reports AP.
Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Police Department lifted the tactical alert and resumed normal patrol operations. Only about one dozen officers are still standing watch over the officers and families directly named in Christopher Dorner's alleged manifesto, down from 50.
Certain projects, such as adding a well thought-out family room can be a wise investment, as they do add to the value of the home. Other projects, however, allow little opportunity to recover the costs when it's time to sell.
