100 calves die in Carver County barn fire - KMSP-TV

About 100 calves were killed in a barn fire early Tuesday morning at a Carver County dairy farm.
The fire in San Francisco Township, near Belle Plaine, was discovered by farm workers heading out to milk the cows.
The Halquist Farms dairy operation has 400 to 500 cows, according to a Star Tribune report.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
