Government study: Credit report errors may affect score

ATLANTA -

There is a new warning from the Federal Trade Commission about your credit report. A government study showed 20 percent of consumers had an error in their credit report, and 5 percent of those errors could have caused them to pay more for mortgages and other loans.
    
So, how do you make sure your credit report is accurate? John Ulzheimer of Smartcredit.com breaks it all down.
