Prosecutors say evidence supports Amy Senser's conviction in the hit-and-run death of a Minneapolis chef.
The Hennepin County Attorney's office filed its brief Monday in response to Senser's appeal.
The prosecution contends evidence supports Senser's convictions from last year on two counts of criminal vehicular homicide. That includes testimony that she deleted text messages after the crash, gave away clothes she had been wearing and dyed her hair.
The St. Paul Pioneer Press reports the state also argues the judge ruled correctly when he refused to move the trial out of Hennepin County.
Senser, wife of former Minnesota Viking Joe Senser, was sentenced to three years and five months in prison for the 2011 death of Anousone Phanthavong in Minneapolis.
Amy Senser's attorneys appealed her convictions in December.
