More than a month after weight loss resolutions were made by people the world over, many have fallen off the wagon. It's easy to get back on track.

We got tips from Bahar Takhtehchian, Shape magazine editor-at-Large.

TIP 1: SHAKE YOUR SALT HABIT

You'll drop a few pounds almost instantly when you scale way back on sodium. When there's too much salt in your blood-stream, your body dilutes it by retaining more fluid. To de-bloat, drink lots of H2O and nibble on potassium-rich foods like bananas and spinach.

TIP 2: HIT THE COFFEE BAR

Caffeine increases your energy level and athletic performance, according to a small study from Coventry University in the U.K. Researchers found that people who drank 179 milligrams of the stimulant (equal to about three espressos) before working out did more reps of each exercise than those in the placebo group.

TIP 3: SPEED THINGS UP WITH A SUPPLEMENT

Most of us store a lot of fat in our belly area. The best way to get rid of the stubborn belly fat is to exercise and improve your diet. But if you want to jumpstart your weightloss efforts, you can use a supplement too. Ab Cuts is a supplement that can be used every day to help reduce fat in belly area. It contains CLA (conjugated linoleic acid) which has been clinically-proven to reduce belly fat. CLA is a naturally occurring fatty acid found in meat, dairy, and safflower oil. Research suggests that when paired with a healthy diet and regular exercise program, (CLA) may help to reduce body fat and enhance lean tissue. You can take this supplement every day. Since Ab Cuts contain any stimulants so you won't feel anything

TIP 4: PRACTICE PORTION CONTROL

If you want to lose weight or stay in shape, you need to combine good eating and exercise habits. A smaller plate (like this 9 inch one) can help you eat less-most are 12 inches or bigger. Not only are these plates smaller than usual dinner plates, they are also portion-controlled. One quarter of the plate is for lean protein, one quarter is for whole grains, and one half is for veggies.

TIP 5: WORK IN YOUR WORKOUT

This super lightweight shoe is just 5 ounces! You can wear this with or without socks. The shoe is ideal for workouts at home, workouts at the gym, and runs and walksoutside. You can take them to work with you and also travel with them-there's no excuse not to break a sweat!
