Andrew Zimmern kicks off a new season of "Bizarre Foods America" Monday night in our nation's capital.
This season, Zimmern plans travel from coast-to-coast, munching on foods like baked muskrat in Baltimore, deep-fried piglet testicles in Iowa, fermented fish eggs in Alaska and mucous-covered snakehead fish in DC.
His mission is to help viewers understand human relationships with foods. Zimmern's mission includes food from immigrant experience and traditional, ethnic foods and modern dishes born by American innovation.
