A winter storm moved into the Twin Cities region Sunday morning -- be careful!
MINNEAPOLIS-ST.PAUL WEATHER TIMELINE
SUNDAY: Snow, sleet, and a wintry mix on and off during the morning and through the afternoon. Periods of heavy snow possible with possible accumulations of 3 to 5 inches during the day. Winds will largely come from the east at 10-15 mph. High temperature 34 degrees.
SUNDAY NIGHT: Snow likely, with an additional 1 to 2 inches possible. Winds will kick up as they switch to the northwest at 20-30 miles per hour, with gusts of 45 mph possible in western counties. Blowing and drifting snow is expected, with a low temperature of 26 degrees.
MONDAY: Winds from the northwest will linger as periods of snow continue, with another inch of accumulation possible. High temperature 29 degrees.
