We begin the week with comfort food In The Kitchen. Dawn Stevens brings us her recipe for biscuits and gravy.
QUICK AND EASY BISCUITS AND GRAVY
1 lb of sausage
1 table spoon of butter
1 ½ cups of flour
2 cups of milk
Salt, pepper and cayenne for seasoning to taste
Put biscuits in the oven first, they will take longer tocook
Cook sausage until brown. Once brown, Right away add:mix in butter and flour and let it lump up and brown for a minute or so.
Slowly add milk and stir.
Add salt, pepper and cayenne to taste.
