ATLANTA (AP) - Thousands of people with disabilities, their caregivers, wounded veterans and others are expected to converge on the Georgia World Congress Center for the annual Atlanta Abilities Expo.
In a release, event Spokeswoman Kevaleen Lara says the expo will feature exhibits, workshops and more for people with physical, learning, developmental and sensory disabilities.
Lara says complimentary loaner scooters, wheelchair repair and a power chair charging station will be available during the expo.
President and CEO of the expo David Korse says the event is meant to connect disabled people with life-enhancing products and services.
The event is being held February 8 through 10 and admission is free.
