Wild ready for undefeated Chicago

Posted: Updated:

Very much looking forward to the Wild game tonight as the hated…well slightly disliked Blackhawks come to town. This isn't your old North Stars vs. Blackhawks rivalry, but with any amount of luck, we'll get back to that in a year or so when the league addresses realignment.

Back to tonight. Chicago comes in undefeated at 6-0 and on top of the Western Conference's central division.

Josh Harding will be in net for the Wild as they look to push their winning streak to two. Harding has been solid at home with a 23-11-2 record at the X. The Wild is 14-7-1 against the Blackhawks.

Blackhawks defenseman Nick Leddy returns to Minnesota following his overtime winner against Detroit.

The Wild have 11 of their 16 goals from Zach Parise, Dany Heatley and Mikko Koivu. The second and third lines need to become a factor.

The Blackhawks are loaded offensively. Patrick Kane is eighth in scoring with nine points and Marian Hossa is tied for second with five goals.
