Fastrack for the N, Q, R Lines

The MTA announced that Fastrack will return for N, Q and R line starting on Monday night from 10 p.m. until 5 a.m., for four consecutive weeknights to early Friday morning, February 1. 

N trains will operate in Queens and Brooklyn only. Q trains run in Brooklyn and are rerouted via the D 6th Avenue line in Manhattan to/from the 57th Street F station. R service ends early in Manhattan and Queens.  

Customers should use these travel alternatives:

  • Use nearby stations on the 8th Avenue (A, E), 7th Avenue (1, 2) 6th Avenue (D, F, Q) and Lexington Avenue (4, 6) Lines instead.
  • Take the 7 for service between Queens and Manhattan.
  • Make key transfers between services at Queensboro Plaza (7, N), 5th Avenue/42nd Street-Bryant Park (7, D, F, Q), Jay Street-MetroTech (A, F, N), and Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center (2, 4, D, N, Q).
