Vigil held for murdered Eastpointe mother, husband located

Posted: Updated:

EASTPOINTE, Mich. (WJBK) -- A vigil was held Sunday for a mother found shot to death inside her Eastpointe home.

Police discovered the body of 33-year-old Christina Lazzana-Webster Saturday with a gunshot wound to her chest. She and her husband Anthony owned Big Top Popcorn in the city.

The victim's husband willingly went to the Eastpointe Police station. We're told he is cooperating.

Police say no arrests have been made. Lazzana-Webster was the mother of two children.

Investigators are still trying to figure out when the murder took place. The last time anyone talked to Chris was 6:30 p.m. Friday. Her children were not home at the house on the 23000 block of David Ave.

Police say her white 2000 Lexus RX 300 with Michigan license plate CHA 5821 remains missing.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP.
