Crashed Ice course is coolest St. Paul draw this weekend - KMSP-TV

Ice seems to be the theme this weekend in St. Paul.

The city is host to one of only four Red Bull Crashed Ice events in the world.

Time trials are over and the real competition is well underway, with finals taking place Saturday night.

The annual winter carnival is also well under way.

One of the highlights is the ice carving competition in Rice Park, where professional chefs get a chance to step out of the kitchen and show of their chain saw skills.
