Extra police, 'zero tolerance' for St. Cloud: The Takeover

St. Cloud police are adding extra patrols to the downtown area this weekend after the department became aware of a social media-promoted event called "St. Cloud: The Takeover."

Promoters of the event will provide roundtrip buses from Minneapolis-St. Paul to St. Cloud for the Friday and Saturday night adults-only concert.

"If you're coming to St. Cloud to engage in any criminal or uncivil behavior, you're not welcome and you will be dealt with swiftly!" St. Cloud Police Chief Blair Anderson said.

The St. Cloud Times reports the concert is Friday night at RumRunners Bar, and features some rap artists.
