ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KMSP) -
St. Cloud police are looking for a man who pulled a knife on a Target security guard while trying to steal electronics from the store.
At 11:21 a.m. Thursday, St. Cloud police responded to a call of a shoplifting-in-progress at the Target on Lincoln Ave. SE. A loss prevention employee was trying to detain the shoplifting suspect when they pulled out a folding knife and threatened the employee.
The suspect left the scene in a white minivan, possibly a Dodge, with a dark luggage rack on the roof.
The Target employee was not injured.
St. Cloud police have released surveillance photos of the suspect and the van. Anyone with information is asked to call 320-251-1200 or Tri-County Crimestoppers at 320-255-1301.
