Former Minnesota Vikings linebacker E.J. Henderson has always done amazing work off the field when it comes to giving back to youth. Henderson is involved with YoPro, a youth pro fitness with the goal to empower youth to make them healthy.
"Youth Pro Fitness and Nutrition is a story that started from my personal experience. Growing up in the Baltimore area, Aberdeen Maryland, I was a chubby kid when I was 11 and 12 years old," said Henderson. "That itself made my personality kind of introvert. As I got into athletics and as I started to train for those sports and I saw my body change, I just felt my whole demeanor change."
The company is owned by professional athletes and offers nutrition and health expertise through camps for kids throughout the metro area.
