Shedd Aquarium debuts 2 rescued California sea lions

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -
The Shedd Aquarium proudly welcomed home two rescued California sea lions, Tanner and Cruz.
Cruz is a male pup who was found blinded by gunshot wounds. The young sea lion is the first blind marine mammal the aquarium has taken in for rehabilitation.
Trainers will use audio cues, such as a rattle noise, to provide sensory information rather than visual targets.
Tanner and Cruz join two other California sea lions already living at the aquarium.
