ST. PAUL, Minn. (KMSP) -
The final clearance sale starts Monday, Jan. 7 at the downtown St. Paul Macy's store that will close this spring. The sale will run for seven to 11 weeks.
Last week, Macy's announced the closing of its downtown St. Paul store along with multiple other store closures across the country. The store has been a fixture in St. Paul for 50 years, beginning in 1963 as Dayton's.
St. Paul city planners have already begun to consider future plans for the Macy's site, which will be one of four light rail stops when the Central Corridor line opens in spring of 2014.
