Vikings rookie kicker Blair Walsh continued his record setting first year winning the NFC Special Teams player of the week award. Walsh has won the award three times and becomes the first rookie since Devin Hester in 2006.
Walsh kicked the Vikings to the playoffs Sunday against Green Bay with a 29-yard field goal as time expired. He also made field goals of 54 and 37 yards in the win.
Walsh is a perfect 10-for-10 on field goals of 50 or more yards this season and earned a Pro-Bowl trip last week.
