Minnesota man killed after crashing snowmobile into tree

A 33-year-old man from Grey Eagle, Minn. died after crashing his snowmobile into a tree near Melrose, Minn. on New Year's Eve.

According to the Stearns County sheriff's office, alcohol appears to have been a contributing factor in the crash.

The man, who has not been identified, was responsive but struggling to breathe when paramedics arrived. He was pronounced dead at the Melrose hospital.
