Crime in Minneapolis is at the lowest level in decades according to a new report released by the city. The study shows that crime has been riding a downward trend over the past few months which is why city officials expect this year to end with the lowest crime rates in 30 years.
The city of Minneapolis reports that over the last four years violence and property crime are at the lowest levels since the 1960's. Last year however, violent crimes did increase during the spring and summer months.
