Report: Ga. contractor killed in suspected Afghan attack

A Georgia contractor has been killed in Afghanistan. The Los Angeles Times has identified the contractor as 49-year-old Joseph Griffith of Mansfield, Ga.

Authorities say an Afghan policewoman shot and killed him.

They say this appears to be the first time a woman serving in Afghanistan's security forces has shot and killed a member of the western coalition.

Griffith worked with DynCorp in Kabul in support of training and mentoring programs for Afghan security forces.
