Two men suspended over 100 feet in the air had to call for rescue after their harnesses failed while fixing a cell phone tower.
Plymouth officials were called at about 5:45 p.m. on Thursday by the two men, who were working on a tower at the intersection of Cheshire Lane and Schmidt Lake Road.
Minnesota Task Force One was called in with their equipment, and both men were successfully lowered after two hours.
One emergency room doctor and three ambulances were on the scene, but officials say both men were conscious and aware when lowered.
The men have been taken to North Memorial Hospital for treatment of possible hypothermic symptoms and blood circulation issues associated with being in a harness for a long period of time.
