Gas prices fall again as holiday travel begins

Posted: Updated:
CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

Gas prices have dropped another $0.05-$0.10 at gas stations around the Chicago area in the past day or so.

Prices at many stations in the suburbs are now approaching the $3 per gallon mark for the first time in two years. If you look around in Indiana, you will find prices below $3 per gallon.

Analysts said the drop in prices is tied to a drop in demand, lower world oil prices and a cheaper winter blend with less additives.
