Cleared coach Todd Hoffner off leave at MSU-Mankato

MANKATO, Minn. (KMSP) -

Minnesota State University-Mankato confirmed head football coach Todd Hoffner's administrative leave ended on Monday, Dec. 17. Hoffner remains on the university's payroll.

One complaint against Hoffner was investigated and the investigation has been completed, while another is pending and still under investigation.

Prosecutors said Hoffner took cell phone videos of his children performing suggestive acts while naked. Hoffner said the videos were just "innocent family moments." Blue Earth County District Court Judge Krista Jass dismissed the case last month for lack of probable cause.

Aaron Keen served as acting head coach. of the Mavericks football program, which went undefeated in its most successful season in recent history. MSU's run through the NCAA Division II playoffs ended with a 35-19 semifinal loss to Valdosta State on Dec. 8.
