ST. PAUL, Minn. (KMSP) -
For the first time in school history, the University of St. Thomas will play for a football national championship tonight when they face Mount Union.
It won't be easy.
Mount Union has been a mainstay in NCAA Division III football winning 10 national championships and making their eighth straight appearance in the Amos Alonzo Stagg Bowl.
Both teams enter the game undefeated at 14-0.
Kickoff is slated for 6p.m. and the University will host an on-campus viewing party in the Woulfe Alumni Hall in the Anderson Student Center.
