MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) -
Minneapolis police have made an arrest in the Dec. 8 sexual assault of a woman who was followed off the bus near 34th Street East and Chicago Avenue South.
Tips from the public starting coming in almost immediately after police released photos of the suspect on Wednesday.
Thursday morning, Minneapolis police arrested Kenneth Franklin Owens at his home on the 500 block of Oliver Avenue North.
Owens, 43, was taken into custody without incident for an outstanding Ramsey County misdemeanor warrant. He was booked Thursday morning into the Hennepin County jail for sexual assault and the outstanding warrant.
