ATLANTA -

Parents demanded answers at a PTA meeting held at Finch Elementary School on the wake of a carbon monoxide scare.

Some parents contend there's a lack of concern by top educators following last Monday's leak.

Doctors treated dozens of students and adults for carbon monoxide poisoning.

Inspectors found two maintenance workers failed to re-open a valve on a furnace allowing toxic fumes to build up.

For three days, students were bussed to Kennedy Middle School until inspectors gave the all clear.

The district installed a temporary boiler system, carbon monoxide detectors and are working to install detectors system-wide.
