Kevin Love regrets that his comments to Yahoo Sports, which criticized Timberwolves management, became public. Love says it's a thing of the past, and he would love to end his career in Minnesota.
"I've talked to David and coach. We are moving on," Love said.
Love spent time Wednesday addressing an article in which he aired his frustrations over the team's handling of his contract extension, questions over the legitimacy of his hand injury, constant changes to the roster and a perceived lack of respect from his owner.
"I don't know who labels people stars, but even Glen Taylor said: I don't think Kevin Love is a star, because he hasn't led us to the playoffs," Love told Yahoo Sports. "I mean, it's not like I had much support out there. That's a tough pill to swallow."
"You walk into the locker room every year, and it's completely turned over. There's new guys everywhere. And then it happens again and again. You start to wonder: Is there really a plan here? Is there really any kind of a … plan?"
Wednesday, Love said "I'm done talking about this situation."
"We are moving on and looking forward to the future," he said. "We have a chance of making something this year special and for years to come. The acquisitions we made this offseason I'm fine with."
