Police seek bank robber wearing white coveralls, Halloween mask

KELLIHER, Minn. (KMSP) -

The Beltrami County Sheriff's Office is asking the public to help them locate a an armed bank robber who held up the First State Bank of Big Fork in Kelliher, Minn., on Monday afternoon.

Dispatchers received a 911 call at 2:27 p.m. from the bank, which is located on Main Street about 55 miles north of Bemidji after an armed robber entered dressed in white, hooded coveralls, black tennis shoes, black gloves, a white, plastic Halloween ghost mask and a large black bag.

Police say the suspect brandished a shotgun with a silver barrel at an employee and fled on foot with an undetermined amount of cash.

No vehicle was seen in the area, but police do believe a smaller passenger car may have been involved. No direction of travel is known at this time.
