The Center for Missing Persons confirms theCommunity United Effort Alert for 21-year-old Michael Davids, of Andover, has been canceled because he has been safely located.
Officials have not released any details about the nature of his disappearance.
The alert was issued after Davids disappeared following a drive to his friend's house last week on Dec. 1.
