The Timberwolves jumped out to a 34-21 lead after the first quarter then extended it to 18 at the half, cruising to a 105-88 win over the Philadelphia 76ers.
Alexey Shved continued to impress as he scored 17 points and Josh Howard, added a season-high 16 in his third start of the season.
Howard started for Andrei Kirilenko who missed his third straight game with back spasms and registered his first double-double of the season with a 10 rebound performance. J.J. Barea also picked up a double-double with 11 points and 10 assists.
The win evens the record at 8-8 and the Wolves play the second of their back-to-back road trip tonight against Boston before returning home to face Cleveland on Friday night.
