The Global Video Conference Analyst works under the oversight of the Global Video Conference Services Manager and is responsible for providing the day to day operational support of the Video Conference team, as well as technical support around the Video Conference Infrastructure and its peripherals both locally and in conjunction with all Mayer Brown global offices.
Interact directly with video conference users and support areas to provide remote - phone based, or in-room support/troubleshooting for real time and scheduled video conference meetings.
Provide 1st /2nd line remote support of global endpoints / VC helpdesk.
Provide 1st /2nd line support of all VC infrastructure.
Provides hands-on and remote support/troubleshooting of integrated video and audio conferencing equipment in conference rooms and mobile environments.
Provides technical support to conference rooms at multiple local and global locations including sound equipment, video conferencing and other audio visual support, as appropriate.
Supports video recording services for meetings and presentations including audio and video reproduction.
Act as the technical advisor, providing expertise on projects; designing, implementing, and supporting mission critical networks and complex converged infrastructure .
Liaise with contractors to plan and coordinate 3rd line repairs and installs.
Provide administrator duties of the TMS, MCU, TCS, Cisco VCS control , Cisco VCS expressway, Polycom and Cisco endpoints.
Plan, design, implement and manage projects that include new locations or deploy new technologies across the network.
Evaluate migration, redundancy, disaster recovery, business continuity and long term growth options.
Ability to handle any /all tasks relating to AV and video operations for local, off-site and remote locations.
Ensure that all existing and newly added endpoints are working correctly and adhering to company standards.
Work with Global VC Services Manager to maintain VC architecture and advise of necessary changes in line with the company needs and developments.
Monitor video calls as required and provides immediate response to connectivity or participant needs.
Maintain the global inventory of all video equipment and advises when ad hoc or scheduled maintenance is required.
Assist with scheduling and coordination of video conference requests.
Provide ad hoc training on all audio visual and video conferencing matters.
The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record delivering professional AV/VC solutions either to the industry itself or in a professional services environment.
He/she will also possess a proactive approach and a comprehensive technical understanding of all AV/VC technologies, specifically: TMS, MCU, TCS, VCS(E) Video endpoints, Crestron control systems, sound reinforcement and basic camera operations.
Must have solid administrative and communication skills either by phone, video or email; a sound knowledge of computer technology, PC applications and networking skills; and a familiarity with basic network related terminology (e.g. hub, switch, jacks, etc.) along with a good knowledge of diagnosing/resolving basic network related issues.
High School Diploma or GED required. College degree preferred.
6 years of related work in a professional environment.
Support experience of Creston control keypads to include maintenance and systems upgrades, preferred.
Experience on Cisco call manager and Jabber client preferred.
TelePresence integration with Outlook calendar preferred.
Frequent lifting up to 60 lbs. Must be able to sustain long periods of standing, stooping, reaching, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, talking, hearing and repetitive motions.
