Mitch Albom hosts 'S.A.Y. Detroit Radiothon'

TROY, Mich.. (WJBK) -- Award winning author and broadcaster Mitch Albom is hosting the first ever "Mitch Albom S.A.Y. Detroit Radiothon" on Tuesday.

The 15-hour charity fundraiser takes place at the Somerset Collection Northside Grand Court in Troy and is broadcast live on News/Talk 760 WJR.

All money raised during the broadcast supports the S.A.Y. (Super All Year) Detroit charities: Working Homes Working Families, Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries, 100 Houses, A Hole in the Roof Foundation, Time To Help, S.A.Y. Detroit Family Health Clinic and College for Creative Studies.

Donations are being accepted at 1-866-992-GIVE (4483), by texting "MITCH" to 5-5-6-7-8 and on the S.A.Y. Detroit website.
