A Minneapolis grandmother and her grandson who were brutally murdered with a samurai-style sword were finally laid to rest on Saturday.
Family members flocked to the victims' home, stricken with grief after they learned Beatrice Wilson and her grandson, Peter, had been stabbed to death.
Wilson's estranged son, Ishmael, has been charged in connection with the killings.
Funeral services were held on Saturday at Brookdale Covenant Church in Brooklyn Center.
A memorial fund has been established in honor of the victims to help cover funeral costs. Donations can be made to the Beatrice Wilson Memorial Trust.
