Anoka police arrest man after apartment shooting

The Anoka City Police Department says one man is in custody and another is recovering after a shooting on Saturday afternoon.

Officials were dispatched to an apartment in the 700 block of Southview Drive at about 3:15 p.m. and found a man with "significant injuries" from a gun.

The victim was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, but his medical status is currently unknown.

Officers say they do have a second man in custody in connection with the shooting, and they are not seeking any additional suspects.
