The Belle Plaine Herald is reporting that the man who blew a .17 after troopers pulled him over during a speeding stop is a local police officer.
The Minnesota State Patrol confirms that 32-year-old Bryan Pasek was pulled over at 2:26 a.m. on Tuesday after his vehicle was clocked going 96 mph in a 65-mph zone.
A trooper stopped Pasek between Delaware Avenue and Park Boulevard, and officials confirm he blew a .17 before he was arrested on DWI charges.
The Belle Plaine Police Department's website lists Bryan Pasek as a full-time officer , but no one at the department would confirm Pasek's employment when FOX 9 News called on Tuesday.
Scott County court records show Pasek was sentenced to a year of probation and a $935 fine after a previous DWI conviction in 2004.
